Acceptable Use Policy

Intended use

Variel is designed to generate and enforce brand systems for AI-built products. Use it to build real products with real brand identities. The agent integration (MCP) is designed for individual project use by the key holder.

Prohibited uses

The following uses are prohibited:

- Automated or scripted creation of projects to evade generation limits. The free tier enforces daily generation caps; circumventing them by spinning new accounts or projects is a violation. - Circumventing the vrl_anon session bound. The anonymous generation cap exists to prevent abuse of free capacity. Do not attempt to reset or bypass it programmatically. - Abusing the MCP API key. Your API key is scoped to your project only and must not be shared, resold, or used to access data beyond your project. The key is read-only and least-privilege by design. - Using Variel to generate brand assets for unlawful purposes — including but not limited to generating brand identities designed to impersonate, defraud, or infringe the intellectual property of others. - Reselling access to the Variel service or its API without our written permission. - Attempting to reverse-engineer, extract, or reproduce the brand positioning engine, validation logic, or MCP tool implementations. - Using the service to generate content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful.

Enforcement

Variel enforces rate limits at the application and session level. Accounts found to be in violation of this policy may be suspended or terminated without notice. We reserve the right to investigate suspected abuse and to take appropriate action, including contacting law enforcement where required.

Reporting abuse

If you observe use of Variel that you believe violates this policy, report it to privacy@variel.ai with as much detail as possible.
